Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly punched Drake in a nightclub brawl 10 years ago.
The Bad Boy Records founder, 54, is being held in custody as he faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. Diddy denies all allegations.
But 10 years ago, Diddy and Drake were embroiled in a beef so bad that they came to blows.
Diddy and Drake got into a brawl at the LIV Nightclub in Miami, Florida, in 2014. They were both there in attendance at DJ Khaled’s The Temple birthday party amid Basel week, according to the Miami New Times. According to the news outlet, the disagreement ended with the words, “You will not disrespect me” and Drake being allegedly punched by Diddy.

Initially, Drake was thought to have gotten allegedly decked by Diddy because he had flirted with then-girlfriend Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura. However, witness Sam Sneak wrote on then-Twitter, “It definitely wasn’t bout Cassie.”
The reason behind Diddy and Drake beefing to the point of fisticuffs allegedly had to do with song rights. According to witnesses, the two music superstars were allegedly fighting over money. Supposedly Diddy was allegedly arguing over “potential and ongoing profits” from an untitled piece of music, according to the Miami New Times.
Anecdotes of Diddy’s alleged violent behavior continue to circulate in the wake of Diddy’s arrest in Manhattan, New York. Diddy’s bail was denied by the district court judge overseeing his sex trafficking and racketeering case. The rapper will remain in federal custody after the decision was announced. US District Judge Andrew Carter made the call after hearing arguments from the lawyers.
According to court documents obtained by The Mirror, Diddy allegedly “used force, threats of fore, and coercion, to cause victims to engage in extended sex acts with male commercial sex workers that Combs referred to as Freak Offs.
Diddy denies all allegations that are against him as pleaded not guilty to the charges he faced on Tuesday. According to TMZ, the judge turned down the latest bail request on Wednesday because “the government has proven the defendant is a danger. The bail package is insufficient even on risk of flight.”
Manhattan federal Magistrate Judge Robyn Tarnofsky originally ordered the musician to be held without bail on Wednesday. She made the ruling after an almost two-hour-long hearing where prosecutors and Diddy’s lawyer argued on whether he should be jailed until he faces trial.
